Nail biting is very common and usually the end result of anxious thinking or it can simply be a behavioural pattern than is so common for a client that they don't even realize that they are doing it! The first step is to explore the situations when this behavioural pattern occurs and then to change the thinking process which in turn changes the feeling responses that triggers the unhelpful behaviour. I recommend 2 - 3 sessions and regularly help clients with this at my Leeds and Manchester Hypnotherapy practice.
