Nick Kemp - Treating Anxiety and Anxiety Attacks

On average I see at least two clients every week with anxiety issues or with panic attacks. The ability to become anxious or to have a panic attack requires a trigger that then fires off the non helpful state. These conditions often require a great deal of energy and momentum in order to take place and we know from NLP that there are only a limited number of ways in which this can occur.

The key to resolving these conditions is to learn to easily control your imagination, rather than the other way around...

During each session, NLP and other techniques are used to help you to transform this 'fear of the fear' thought process. This is a way of consciously training your imagination to be under your control to create a new found freedom.

Many people who experience anxiety and panic attacks vividly imagine having a panic attack, sometimes recalling having one or more of these attacks, talk or yell to themselves in a panicky tone of voice and/or feel feelings they then describe as 'panic'.

Frequently the person experiencing the anxiety or panic attack will not initially be consciously aware of this pattern and these panic attacks can in extreme cases result in blackouts and fainting.

"An amazingly powerful technique. By working on a single phrase that affected me, I was able to turn my feelings of anxiety into total calm in a few minutes. And best of all, the calm lasted. Exciting stuff"
