Pete's Story
Pete Windridge-France aims to swim the channel to raise money for Penny Fields in Leeds, the
special needs school that his son Archie attends. Archie is 7 years old and has global
developmental delay which means that he is mentally about 10 months old, and so can't walk or
talk.
I am seeing Pete to coach him on "state control" using my Provocative Change Works™ approach
for this enterprise and he is keeping a video diary of the results. For further details on this
approach take a look at my Sports Performance
Coaching page.

I spent the morning talking to Pete about this amazing journey and we recorded on video what we discussed. Here's a wonderful photo which gives some idea of just how far it is when you swim from Dover to France! That's the white cliffs of Dover in the background! |

Pete arrived in France last night after swimming for 17 hours 55 minutes from the UK. I watched most of this on Twitter, FaceBook and online! This is the culmination of a few months work with myself and of course his own extensive physical workout. I spoke to him today and he's in fine spirite. I'll be adding some more video soon pre and post event. |
